It covers Super 35mm (31.4mm diagonal) sensors and is homogeneous in color, contrast and sharpness. It covers a focal range of 15mm to 40mm (2.7x) with a constant T2.6 diaphragm throughout its entire route. This zoom is compatible with the ASU servo and covers S35mm sensors (35mm when using any of its Optimo duplicators).

The Angenieux Optimo 15-40mm zoom is a professional cinema lens ready to work at its maximum aperture of diaphragm (T2.6). The design of its zoom, focus and iris rings makes them soft without hops. The minimum focusing distance is 0.6m and its focus ring has a rotation of 320º, 8mm gear and you can choose between scale in feet (ft) or in meters (m)

It covers a focal range of 15mm to 40mm (2.7x) with a constant T2.6 diaphragm throughout its entire route. This zoom is compatible with the ASU servo and covers S35mm sensors (35mm when using any of its Optimo duplicators). Optimo 15-40mm T2.6 is compatible with 1.4x or 2x duplicators of the same brand in order to modify the focal range. The correlations are as follows:
  • With 1.4x Extender: 21-58mm (T3.7)
  • With 2x Extender: 30-80mm (T5.2)
  • Its construction is compact and very light (1.92kg) and bright (T2.6) for the focal range it covers.
  • It complements very well with its zooms brothers: Angenieux Optimo 45-120mm T2.8 and Angenieux 28-76mm T2.6
