The Angenieux 56-152mm T4 A2S zoom was the first anamorphic zoom designed by Angenieux, creating a new family of anamorphic zooms. Compact 2.2Kg zoom with a T4 aperture across the entire focal range. it is ideal for any type of film production.

On the back of the optics there is a small anamorphic adapter that compresses the image according to the 2x anamorphic factor. It covers 21.95 x 18.6mm (27mm diagonal) sensors.

This zoom has a focal range that covers from 56mm to 152mm (2.7x), very low distortion at all focal lengths and minimal breathing.

The angular field of view of the Angenieux 56-152mm T4 anamorphic zoom is 42.8º at its minimum focal length (52mm) and 16.4º at its maximum focal length (152mm).

It suppresses overlays by reflection and avoids the typical unwanted image (ghost image). It produces a subtle but curious and beautiful flare very different from the rest of anamorphic lenses.

The minimum focus distance is 0.63m. It is a zoom with a precise and ergonomic focus ring with 320º rotation and 50 precise marks available in feet (ft) and meters (m).

Its front diameter is 114mm compatible with the accessories used for the entire Optimo line.

Available in PL mount with the possibility of being easily exchanged by means of a thread. They are compatible with the ASU (Servo Angenieux Unit).

It is considered the lightest 2.7x anamorphic zoom on the market with 2.2Kg of weight and 210mm in length. It is manufactured to adapt to extreme situations withstanding temperatures from -20º to + 45º.
