The Aputure STORM 1200x is a state-of-the-art 1200W LED spot to spot fixture, designed to meet the needs of filmmakers, photographers and lighting technicians who require a powerful, precise and versatile source. With a robust and weatherproof design (IP65 rating), this luminaire combines power, advanced technology and colour fidelity, making it ideal for all types of indoor and outdoor productions.

Variable white light quality of the Aputure STORM 1200x

The STORM 1200x offers an adjustable colour temperature range from 2,500K to 10,000K, with green/magenta correction of ±G over the full ASC MITC range, ensuring extreme colour accuracy. Thanks to the innovative BLAIR (Blue, Lime, Amber, Indigo, Red) chipset, it achieves a highly efficient and natural colour mixing. The luminaire achieves impressive colour fidelity: CRI ≥95, TLCI ≥95, SSI 87, and an average TM-30 Rf of 95 with Rg of 100.

Aputure STORM 1200x Power and Performance

This floodlight offers up to 22,500 lux at 3 metres at 5600K with its 45° reflector, putting it in the same class as an 1800W HMI, but with much more efficient power consumption(1550W max). Its stable and controlled output makes it perfect for high-end productions that demand constant, powerful and flicker-free light.

Total Control and Professional Modes

The Aputure STORM 1200x is compatible with all major professional control standards: 16-bit DMX512, CRMX LumenRadio, Art-net, sACN via ethernet, and the Sidus Link / Sidus Link Pro mobile app. It allows smooth dimming from 0.1% to 100%, with 4 dimming curves (Linear, Exponential, Logarithmic and S-curves) and working modes like Lead-Follow, Studio Mode and High Speed.

Special Effects and Silent Ventilation

Includes 9 lighting effects such as Paparazzi, Fireworks, Lightning, TV, Pulse, Explosion and more. The cooling system features 6 fan modes, including a 0 dBA silent mode, ideal for sets where direct sound is critical.

Rugged Design and Accessories

Its structure is designed for demanding environments: dust and water resistant (IP65), it includes the new Bowens mount with ProLock locking, which ensures a firm connection with heavy modifiers and prevents misalignment.
