Arrimax HMI 18/12 kw is the brightest source from the Arri brand. It is a lighting device whose lamp can be 18KW or 12KW. The reflection system that it uses is of the MAX technology, this allows its use without lenses. It is dimmable from 50 to 100%. Arri solved it with a reflector located on the back of the lamp eliminating this halo in addition to increasing the intensity of light output by 30%. It also stands out for its large diameter (630mm) and the possibility of recording at high speed thanks to its new EB 18/12 KW HS ballast, up to 1000Hz.
