Graduated color filters are available in various colors, many in 1-3 or 1-5 densities, the higher density number equals a more intense color effect. Apart from the cut in the filter between the area that contains the tonality and the one that does not, it can have a smoother and more progressive graduation, used especially with angular lenses since these lenses have a greater depth of field, or hard graduation, more convenient for tele lenses or strong transitions. And depending on the resulting cut, there are horizontal, the best known and used, or vertical if the filter is not completely square, since the vertical graduation effect can be used with these, turning the tray of the filter holder unit. In addition, the combination of two of these filters giving a tone to one of the two areas and another tone to the other area allow to create exceptional results.

Graduated neutral filters

They are used to balance light intensity in two areas, eliminating the power of light in one of the areas. The typical example of using this filter is to give more detail to the sky of a landscape, making it much darker and leaving the first term at the bottom with a correct exposure. Different densities: 0.3, 0.6, 0.9 and 1.2 from lowest to highest intensity.

Graduated Blue filters

They are used to enhance blue tones in one of the two areas. It is commonly used to achieve heavier blue skies when they are too whitish, opaque and discolored, or to achieve the same effect over seas if they are lacking in color. Different densities: 1, 2 and 3 from lowest to highest intensity.

Graduated Coral filters

They are used to enhance coral tones in one of the two areas. It is commonly used to achieve spectacular scenery shots adding the coral tone to the earth and thus making it much more attractive or even in the sky to create radiant sunsets. Different densities: 1, 2 and 3 going from less to more shade.

Graduated tobacco filters

They are used to enhance tobacco tones in one of the two areas. Like coral, it is used to achieve spectacular scenery shots, adding the tobacco tone to the earth and making it much more attractive or even in the sky to create radiant sunsets. Different densities: 1, 2 and 3 from lowest to highest intensity.

Graduated sunset filters

They are used to enhance orange and yellow tones in one of the two areas. This filter is used exclusively to enhance sunsets or even sunrises. Different densities: 1, 2 and 3 from lowest to highest intensity.
