REHOUSING TLS CANON K35

The Canon K35 18mm, 24mm, and 35mm lenses were the first lenses in the Canon K35 range to have TLS rehoused. Arguably the most difficult lenses to convert in the Canon K35 Vintage series, these three lenses required an intensive design and development process. The 55mm and 85mm were later completed with the fixed rear glass placed on the stainless steel PL bracket. The K35 lens .conversion process covers all variants of the series TLS Dual Camera System The Canon K35 18mm, 24mm, and 35mm lenses have a dual-camera system to cover the movement of the floating element.

The 55mm and 85mm ones are on a conventional single cam system but incorporate a rear fixed element. All lenses in the series have an enlarged focus scale from the original canon design with 300 degrees of focus ring rotation TLS Cam-Driven Focus System The camera-driven focus system and chassis-style lens housing allow matte cases and other accessories to be placed on the front of Canon K35 lenses, without affecting focus movements. The benefit of zero backlashes and image shift provides accurate dual focus scales that repeat on change of direction, providing wide dispersion and even markings across.
