Cooke S5i T1.4 spherical rental/hire lenses. These very bright lenses have a max. T1.4 iris aperture and glowing-in-the-dark focus marks on both sides. They feature the i-Technology LDS system, and deliver outstanding optical and operational image results. Flares are under control thanks to their top notch anti-flare layer. These lenses have minimal geometric and chromatic aberration at full aperture. These lenses cover a focal length range between 18mm and 135mm, with a maximum 1.4 aperture and a 270º angle focus ring rotation. Their front diameter is a standard 110mm, excluding the 135mm (136mm)

The Cooke S5i T1.4 Set includes 18-25-32-40-50-75-100-135mm. The S5i Cooke lenses are the famous British brand's latest lens set design. Launched in 2009, they were made to directly compete with Arri's Zeiss Master Prime lenses. Cooke S5i lenses deliver optimal optic and operational results, flare control, minimal distortion and aberration when wide open to get a clean and at the same time soft image, even in low light situations.

As for weight, they are a little heavier than Arri's Master Prime lenses: with a 3kg weight average, the s5i 135mm weighs 5kg. The S5i lenses have an innovative design and a modular built to grant easy maintenance.

These lenses have a new design and feature a lighting lens system: an on/off switch to light focus and iris marks and a dimmer adjust their brightness. The lenses also have a special focus mechanism that allows extra smooth focus ring movements. It's easy to see that the S5/i lenses have been designed and produced according to the needs of the most demanding filmmakers. Of course, they blend perfectly with the whole Cooke lens lineup, especially with S4/i, miniS4/i, 18-100mm T3.0, the 25-250mm T3.7 and SK4 16mm spherical lenses.
