Oconnor Ultimate 2575D fluid head rental. Oconnor 2575D features OConnor's continuous counterweight system, as well as an ultra-smooth swing and tilt fluid drag designed for film-style shoots.

The folding counterweight crank and numerical readout make it easy to counterweight the payload on the 2575D for rent. The new platform has all controls on the camera operator's head side (left side) and features a platform scale on both sides and four rosette grip mounts perfect for operators to operate this 2575D. 

The platform release lever has a one-touch finger-operated safety latch, and while it still requires conscious effort, it makes the 2575D in rental very comfortable to operate.

The fluid head system of the OConnor 2575D rental allows extremely fast platform movement from one position to another, recovering instantly without any conscious effort, position to position, recovering instantly without any recoil.

The 2575D's illuminated rental bubble level allows you to make adjustments easily on a tripod in low light conditions.

Oconnor 2575D counterweight

The balancing mechanism of the oconnor 2575D rental is adjusted by means of the counterbalance handle located on the lower right side of the head. The crank has a folding handle which incorporates a clutch to prevent inadvertent damage to the 2575D rental balancing mechanism. The maximum and minimum payloads that can be balanced depend on the weight of the camera and accessories and the height of the center of gravity. The graph below shows the range of loads and center of gravity heights that can be balanced. The counterweight can be set completely to zero (no counterweight) and the oconnor 2575D rental head can be tilted ±90°.

2575D Numeric Display

The numerical display on this oconnor 2575D rental indicates the setting of the counterweight mechanism on a scale of 0-99%. Adjust the counterweight handle clockwise to increase the counterweight setting and counterclockwise to decrease it. The 2575D rental display has a three-color band that provides advance warning that end limits are being reached. Green represents the normal operating range, yellow indicates an adjustment within 20-10% of the end limit, and red indicates an adjustment within 10-0% of the end limit. When turning in the red zone, be careful to stop before reaching "0%" or "99%" of counterweight on the oconnor 2575D on rental.

2575D Ultra Smooth Drag

Both the pan and tilt mechanisms incorporate OConnor's ultra-smooth fluid drag to ensure smooth movement. The pan-drag adjustment knob is located on the lower left rear of the head with its indicator wheel on the left side of the head, and the tilt-drag adjustment knob is located on the lower right rear of the head with its indicator wheel on the right-hand end cap. Both knobs are continuously adjustable from 0 to 9.

2575D Pivot and Tilt Locks

Once the 2575D is placed on a tripod, friction locks on each axis allow the head to be locked in any desired position. Pan and tilt lock levers are located on the left side of the head, with the tilt lock above the pan lock for simple, trouble-free operation.
