Sachtler Video 20 S1 fluidic head rental. Sachtler Video 20 S1 fluid head with Touch & Go camera plate and pan bar. The head is highly recommended for field work that requires equipment durable enough to go where you need it and versatile enough to do what you need it to do. The Sachtler Video 20 S1 rental features an even wider payload range and an innovative Speedbalance system for quick weight compensation. The increased range means that even lightweight cameras, such as video DSLRs, can be used effectively on this fluid head, with the help of a 16-step counterbalance system that allows for precise adjustment.

The Sachtler Video 20 S1 rental, like its predecessor, can also easily handle heavier ENG and EFP camcorders, with a Boost button now included for sudden changes in payload range (for example, when swapping a shoulder camera for a handheld HDV camcorder or DSLR). EFP and ENG TV crews will love the excellent seven-level drag properties, Touch & Go function for quick set-up and take-down, rugged temperature resistance, parking positions for spare camera screws, and self-illuminating spirit level. The Sachtler Video 20 S1 tripod and fluid head rental is designed to work as fast as the operator.

The Video 20 S1 not only adopts the Video 20s reputation in the newsgathering field, but aims to surpass it.

Articulated arm Sachtler Video 20 S1

Operation of the articulated arm of the Sachtler Video 20 S1 fluid head for rental: Open the articulated arm clamping lever and place the articulated arm in the desired position. Close the clamping screw on the rod. When the lever is lifted, it will be released and can be placed in the desired angular position.

Caution: Open the clamping screw of the articulated arm sufficiently. The teeth of the articulated arm clamp must not collide when moving the articulated arm. Make sure that the teeth interlock with each other when closing the clamping lever of the articulated arm clamp of the Sachtler Video 20 S1 in rental.

It is also possible to use the attached articulated arm on the left side of the Sachtler Video 20 S1 rental fluid head. To do this, the rod must be removed from the head and the black plastic plug at the top must be opened and removed with a coin or screwdriver. The toothed clamp must be removed and replaced. The plastic plug must be retightened.

Leveling Sachtler Video 20 S1

How to level the Sachtler system Video 20 S1 fluid head on rental: Apply the vertical brake and hold the camera with one hand. Open the fluid head clamping screw and move the fluid head so that the bubble moves towards the black circle on the level. Tighten the clamping screw firmly.

The Sachtler Video 20 S1 rental has a self-illuminating touch bubble that allows easy leveling even in unfavorable lighting conditions. The illumination is activated by tapping strongly on the bubble. The bubble will illuminate for up to 20 seconds.

Friction adjustment Sachtler Video 20 S1

How to adjust the friction of the Sachtler Video 20 S1 for rental: The Video 20 S1 Video 20 S1 is equipped with a 7-level friction level horizontally and vertically and a zero adjustment. By turning the vertical adjustment and the horizontal adjustment, the desired level is selected. Turn the adjustment ring to "0" to completely switch off the friction.

The different friction levels, from Sachtler Video 20 S1 rental, are only perceptible if the horizontal and vertical brakes are open. If you apply the friction, the horizontal and vertical degree is identical and therefore allows precise diagonal panning movements without jerks and vibrations.

Be sure to always turn the adjustment to the next (arrow above the index point). Engage the retaining latches by slowly rotating or tilting the camera.

CAUTION: Rotating or tilting the camera with adjustments between the indexed positions may damage the retaining pins and/or the Sachtler Video 20 S1 friction discs on rental.
