It is the most robust and lightweight 100 mm ball head in the Sachtler range. With a light weight of 4.1 kg, it supports up to 28 kg. 7 drag levels, a self-illuminating spirit level, a Touch and Go plate for quick assembly and disassembly.

The head is highly recommended for field work that requires equipment durable enough to go where you need it and versatile enough to do what you need it to do. The Sachtler Video 20 S1 rental features an even wider payload range and an innovative Speedbalance system for quick weight compensation. The increased range means that even lightweight cameras, such as video DSLRs, can be used effectively on this fluid head, with the help of a 16-step counterbalance system that allows for precise adjustment.

The Sachtler Video 20 S1 rental, like its predecessor, can also easily handle heavier ENG and EFP camcorders, with a Boost button now included for sudden changes in payload range (for example, when swapping a shoulder camera for a handheld HDV camcorder or DSLR). Articulated arm Sachtler Video 20 S1

Operation of the articulated arm of the Sachtler Video 20 S1 fluid head for rental: Open the articulated arm clamping lever and place the articulated arm in the desired position. Close the clamping screw on the rod. When the lever is lifted, it will be released and can be placed in the desired angular position.

Caution: Open the clamping screw of the articulated arm sufficiently. The teeth of the articulated arm clamp must not collide when moving the articulated arm. Make sure that the teeth interlock with each other when closing the clamping lever of the articulated arm clamp of the Sachtler Video 20 S1 in rental.

It is also possible to use the attached articulated arm on the left side of the Sachtler Video 20 S1 rental fluid head. To do this, the rod must be removed from the head and the black plastic plug at the top must be opened and removed with a coin or screwdriver. The toothed clamp must be removed and replaced. The plastic plug must be retightened.

Leveling Sachtler Video 20 S1
