Kino Flo fluorescent 4 bank system. The Kino Flo 4-tube 0.60m interview kit consists of two four-tube fluorescent lampshades, 2 ballasts with individual ignition of the four lights. The ballast can be distanced from the screen up to 22 metres and its high-frequency electronics prevent any flickering. Two boxes are also provided for the protection of the fluorescent tubes during transport and finally a flycase with wheels. The screen was designed as a soft light source for hanging on the walls of the set.

With its narrow profile and size, it allows for greater flexibility when working in film production where the gaffer and DOP are constantly being challenged to solve problems quickly. Kino Flo's engineering ensures stable operation without static noise interfering with sound recording on set.

All Kino Flo lamps use True Match lamps that are calibrated to match the colour curves of film cameras. They are also designed to colour match other types of light sources such as quartz or HMI. This gives the camera operator the option of mixing hard quartz light sources with soft fluorescent sources.
