• It was a company that was born in 2001, when a group of five Hollywood lighting people and engineers set out on a bold mission: to revolutionise the way lighting was used on sets. The best known of the founders was Pat Grosswendt. Embracing LED technology, they aimed to design a luminaire that was lightweight, versatile and quick to install.

• They were looking for an exceptionally soft, high-definition compatible light that could be dimmed without affecting the colour temperature. In addition, they wanted it to be an energy-efficient light source that generated almost no heat. They also wanted it to be an environmentally friendly light source.

• Their vision became a reality when they created the Litepanels 1x1 LED panel, which was an immediate success and led to the emergence of an entire industry. The light from Litepanels is used for television, cinemas and events. Regardless of the scene you are lighting, Litepanels offer an exceptional quality of light that unleashes limitless creativity.
