With a high CRI of 98 and a TLCI of 95, it offers a color temperature range of 2,000 to 20,000K to suit almost any lighting situation, and also features 100-0% dimming with a smooth and continuous. The light also features multiple sensors, including an intelligent color sensor mode to detect surrounding light and adjust its output for fine color accuracy, a 3-axis accelerometer that detects pan, tilt, and roll movements, a sensor ambient light to keep your screen readable, heat sensors to keep light cool, and even a magnetometer to orient light within your geography.

The Orbiter features a highly portable design that can change its optics in the blink of an eye using ARRI's Quick Lighting Mount (QLM), a bayonet-style connection similar to a camera lens mount. Available optics include 15, 30 and 60° open face optics that produce a directional beam; 15, 25 and 35° projection optics produce a sharp, focused beam with evenly distributed color; and small, medium and large domes that provide a large area of ​​soft light. The light can also be used with separately available light banks, barndoors, honeycombs and other light shaping accessories with the appropriate adapter.

With ARRI's Lighting Operating System (LiOS), you can control all color modes, effects, and lighting grids directly from the integrated control panel. LiOS features eight color modes including CCT, HSO, RGBACL, gel selection, X/Y coordinates, source blending, effects, and a custom mode that lets you save over 240 favorites that can be applied to an interface or DMX . It also has three operating modes: high color rendering, high performance and low noise, for the performance of your preferred mode. Interfaces include 5-pin DMX input and output, two LAN ports, two USB Type-A ports, one USB Type-C port, and an SD slot for future upgrades. It also features a sync input for future apps to sync with your camera.

The light is weather resistant and can resist dust and splashes of water. Its redesigned mounting points secure an optional yoke for +/-90° tilt positioning, and the yoke features a standard 1 1/8" Junior pin mounting point.

• Orbiter Option

Orbiter models include an Optic-Free; small, medium and large dome; 15, 30 and 60° open face; and projection versions of 15, 25 and 35°. ARRI offers a variety of open face and projection optics (lens housings), domes, softboxes, snoots, and visors. Interchangeable optics attach quickly and easily to the front of the light using the new QLM (Rapid Lighting Mount) system, which works like a giant camera lens mount.

• Powerful color

Inside each Orbiter is the Spectra light engine with a processor four times faster than ARRI's SkyPanel series and 125 times the memory, with plenty of room for future feature upgrades. To produce extra-fine tuning in full color, the light engine adds amber, cyan, and lime to the standard red, green, and blue LED colors in its 190-LED array. Capable of creating hard shadows with sharp edges, the Orbiter's motor is 76 times smaller than an ARRI L10 Fresnel but has a higher output while consuming the same amount of power.

• LiOS (Light Operating System)

Building on features first introduced with the SkyPanel, the ARRI LiOS system also features a simplified DMX mode, over 240 presets, optical recognition, optimal performance modes, and multilingual support for worldwide use. Eight different color modes include CCT, HSI, single color, x/y coordinates, gel, fountain, match, and an ambient color sensor.

• Complete set of sensors

The Orbiter has a built-in sensor suite with an ambient color sensor that recreates color and intensity changes in your surroundings and features two modes, continuous and momentary. Use momentary to get an instant measurement of your light levels, or switch to continuous mode to continuously adapt to light changes in an event space, etc. be used in future applications for placement optimization and effect production. It also includes a magnetometer that provides true global steering, an ambient light sensor that will automatically dim the control panel display, and a heat sensor that ensures safe operation at any temperature.

• Durable construction

The Orbiter has an estimated LED life of 50,000 hours. Its optional yoke mounts on a Junior pin and draws 400 W nominal and 500 W maximum. Features aluminum construction with +/- 90° quick release yoke, powerful tilt lock, and manual operation.
