Phantom Flex 4K Recording Modes
Loop Mode
Loop mode is the loop recording mode. When Trigger is pressed, the camera constantly records images in its RAM memory and keeps those taken just before pressing the Trigger button again. This information is downloaded to the Phantom CineMag IV memory. Loop time varies based on two factors: the camera's RAM memory and the recording speed to be used. There are three different Phantom Flex 4K models according to their RAM memory: 32GB, 64GB and 128GB, so that the more RAM memory, the more loop seconds are available.
Rec/Stop Mode
This mode is used to record at fewer frames per second but for longer. Images are saved directly to the camera's CineMag memory. In this mode you can record up to 120 frames per second with the 2TB CineMag IV and up to 90fps with the 1TB. It works similarly to most cameras: press Rec to start capture and press again to end the take.
