The RED EPIC-W HELIUM 8K cinema camera provides the maximum recording resolution available in the whole videography market. It is able to record each shot in two different formats simultaneously, choosing among REDCODE RAW (up to 8K), Apple Prores (up to 4k) and DNxHD/HR (up to 4k).

The RED EPIC W HELIUM 8K has the brand new Helium™ CMOS 35,4 Mpx sensor. It has 8192x4230 effective pixels in a 29,90mm x 15,77mm surface (with a diagonal distance of 33,80mm). In the words of RED, it is able to provide a dynamic range of about +16,5 T-stops and transmission speeds of over 300Mb/sec using the 428 Gb or 1T RED MINI-MAG. It is also able to capture 75fps when recording 8K video and up to 300fps choosing 2K resolution.
