The Kino Flo LED Select 20 lighting device looks like the Kino Select LED 30's little sibling. Even though it is smaller, it packs the same fetures: a wide range of color temperature, magenta/green tint correction, DMX control.

The Kino Flo Select LED 20 DMX lighting screen keeps impressing us: after its succesfull release back in June 2016 it is still keeping up with a new update that brings a a whole new bunch of usefull features.
Up to 6 different channels can be controlled through the 105 DMX electronic ballast, which can be powered with either 24V batteries or AC current (100VAC-240VAC). Besides, the ballast can be controlled either with a DMX cable or through wireless DMX (lumen radio). Furthermore, it is quite lightweight and thus it can be docked in the back of the Select 20.
The LED screen has a color temperature range from 2700K to 6500K. Changing this variable will not affect the light intensity. For a more confortable user experience, there are 4 available presets (2700K, 3200K, 5000K and 6500K) that match the usual color temperature of the most used light sources.
The device offers a dimmer that allows for light intensity selection (from 1% to 100%). Neither color temperature change nor flickering is produced when the dimmer is used. Besides, magenta/green tint can be tuned through a dedicated channel allowing for a more precise correction.
With the latest update the Select 20 DMX adds 3 new channels to the color menu. The first channel allows for HUE angle tuning (in a 360º range). The second one adds more than 100 new presets with specific colors usally available only with filters (warm or cold white, 20K, blue sky, ocre, salmon,...). The last channel allows for saturation modification, adding a whole new level of color customization. The update does also enhance the color temperature range (now spanning from 2500K to 9900K).
The Select 20 DMX has a CRI of 95%, offering a slightly smaller amount of lumens compared with the Select 30 DMX.
Its lightweight construction (only 6.5Kg including ballast) make it an ideal option when dealing with productions that need versatile and fast lighting.
