SONY XDCA-FX9 rental. Sony's XDCA-FX9 extension unit mounts on the back of the Sony PXW-FX9 camera adding an ENG style shoulder mount and a v-camera battery power mode. The unit features a 4-pin XLR DC power output for powering accessories and other equipment, as well as three BNC outputs for raw video, a reference signal and timecode. A LAN interface and two USB ports provide file transfer and live streaming capabilities, as well as support for XDCAM Air streaming playback.

Being able to connect to the PXW-FX9 camera without the need for cables, the XDCA-FX9 extension unit offers features to enhance operator convenience and flexibility.
The XDCA-FX9 extension unit for Sony Fx9 facilitates the attachment of BP-GL and BP-FL series batteries, extending camera operating times during extreme situations.
The Sony XDCA-FX9 extension unit enables advanced networking capabilities for streaming or file transfers via a mobile Dual-link or Ethernet connection. It also allows for easy addition of high quality wireless audio via a wireless receiver slot. Additional output connectors, such as timecode and D-Tap connections, are available on the Sony XDCA.
With an external recorder, the XDCA-FX9 can output 16-bit RAW signals.
