The Zeiss Super Speed ​​MKII T1.3 lenses give their best optical performance when iris values go above T2.8, where images with more contrast and sharpness are achieved. When the iris' aperture value is below T1.3, images will tend to have sparkles, veils and less sharpness. If we had to compare them to other rental/hire lenses, we could say they are very similar to the Master Prime T1.3 lenses. 

The Super Speed MKII ​​T.3 lens set is composed of 5 lenses: 18 mm, 25 mm, 35 mm, 50 mm and 85 mm. All the lenses share the same T1.3 iris aperture and an 80 mm front diameter. The weight of each lens varies between 703g and, 1130g.

The Super Speed ​​MKII T1.3 lenses use a focus and iris ring system that's similar to the one the Ultra Prime T1.9 series has. Also, each lens has 7 circular iris blades instead of 3, as their predecessors (the Zeiss S. Speed ​​MKI T1.4) have.

The precision of the focus ring was also improved in the Zeiss S. Speed ​​MKII T1.3 lenses; it offers more focus marks and a 270º rotation (when the MKI series had 170º).

Zeiss Super Speed ​​MKII T1.3 lenses cover both Super 35 mm and 5k formats, and are widely used with last generation cameras such as ARRI Alexa Mini or ARRI Amira Premium 4K. Their size and weight come in very handy to film special shots, such as stabilizer or crane camera-mounted shots.
